Terms & Conditions

1. Bookings & Quotes

• All quotes are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
• A booking is confirmed once we have provided written or verbal confirmation. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.
• Quoted prices are based on information provided by the client. If the property condition differs significantly from that described, we reserve the right to revise the price before commencing work.
• Access to the property must be arranged prior to the agreed appointment time. Failure to provide access may result in a cancellation charge.

2. Pricing & Payment

• All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable.
• Payment is due on completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• We accept payment by bank transfer, cash, or card.
• For regular service contracts, invoices are issued monthly and are due within 14 days.
• Late payments will attract interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• More than 48 hours' notice: No charge. We will reschedule at no additional cost.
• 24–48 hours' notice: 50% of the agreed service fee may be charged.
• Less than 24 hours' notice or no-show: 100% of the agreed service fee will be charged.
• We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to illness, extreme weather, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, no cancellation fee will apply and we will reschedule at the earliest available slot.

4. Our Obligations

• We will carry out all services with reasonable care and skill, using appropriate cleaning products and equipment.
• Our staff are fully trained, referenced, and operate with professionalism and discretion at all times.
• We hold public liability insurance. Details are available upon request.
• We will inform you in advance of any products used, and will use alternative products where you notify us of allergies or sensitivities.

5. Client Obligations

• You must ensure our staff have safe access to the property and all areas to be cleaned.
• Please inform us of any hazards, fragile items, or specific requirements before the clean commences.
• Valuables, cash, and irreplaceable items should be secured prior to our arrival. We accept no liability for items not disclosed.
• Pets should be secured in a safe location during cleaning to protect both the animal and our staff.
• Any defects (e.g. damaged surfaces, pre-existing stains) should be highlighted to us before work begins.

6. Complaints & Satisfaction Guarantee

• We aim to deliver exceptional results every time. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us within 24 hours of the clean being completed.
• We will arrange to return and rectify any issues at no additional charge, provided the complaint is made within the 24-hour window and access to the property is made available.
• Complaints received after 24 hours or after the property has been used or cleaned by a third party may not be eligible for a remedy.

7. Liability

• In the unlikely event of damage caused by our staff, we will assess the situation and, where liability is accepted, arrange repair or replacement at our cost up to the limit of our public liability insurance.
• We are not liable for: pre-existing damage; damage caused by incorrect information provided by the client; damage to items not disclosed prior to cleaning; or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed the total fees paid for the service in question.
• Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Confidentiality

We treat all information about your property and household with strict confidence. Our staff are bound by confidentiality obligations and will not disclose any information gained during the course of their work.

9. Solicitation of Staff

Clients agree not to directly employ or engage any member of Just For Now's staff independently during the period of their contract with us, and for 6 months after its termination. Breach of this clause may result in a placement fee equal to 20% of the staff member's annual salary being charged.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
